I had always loved and wanted a German Shepherd for as long as I can remember.
But was always told by my parents ..When you have your own home..you can have as many as you want....
In 1979 we purchased our first shepherd "JESS" a Lexicade Marksman daughter.
Jess did not have a very good character she was a great family dog, but did not like anyone she did not know, All the signs were there when we bought her which I ignored, Although we loved her she was not a pleasure to own -- She was so unpredictable, I am very grateful to her --- She taught me a valuable lesson -- and a one that was never to be repeated.
She made me realise no matter what else ----
Character is the most important part of a German Shepherd.
In 1982 along Came "JEMMA" a lovely dark eyed long coated granddaughter of Champion Amulree Heiko.
With A character second to none.
(I learned my lesson well)
In 1986 we purchased Tyeglen Blitz "BUZZ" and shortly followed by his daughter Kemnad Catja See Two Special Dogs.
For our third litter Joyce picked the then Two Year Old "LINDANVALE VEGAS"
We had admired the type of animal "Lindanvale" were producing (A good female line is most important). This combined with the excellent bitch line of "Dannielle" proved fruitful. The result being "JEMNESS ATLAS". ' Freddi '
And what we consider a very special female "MIRRWOOD NIKKI" see home page
Daughter of the lovely "MIRRWOOD IRMA" grandaughter of "Fedor Vom Arminius"
Once again featuring another excellent producer "DELMONIC HELA" from a kennel we have long admired "KELNIK".
Hopefully "NIKKI" will give us our next generation into the millennium, and If the next ten years are as good as the last, then we will be happy with that.
